News Corp Australia is recruiting a sports reporter for the Gold Coast, based in southeast Queensland or Melbourne.
The person will be assigned to cover the Gold Coast sporting scene, creating unique content for print and digital audiences. They will also use the opportunity to develop their own contacts in the local community and amongst all sporting disciplines.
The ideal candidate must have considerable field and newsroom experience and a firm background in covering all sports. They should be capable of holding in-depth interviews and may be required to work night shifts.
2TM and 929 in Tamworth have an exciting opportunity for an experienced radio journalist.
You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of news bulletins to a targeted audience on both our AM and FM stations, plus online articles and social media.
This position is ideal for a journalist looking to develop their career and willing to embrace life in the Country Music Capital of Australia.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, an excellent grasp of news and sport, with a good understanding of the day-to-day operations of a radio newsroom.
The position also requires the successful candidate to upload news stories to our social media platforms, on a daily basis and produce a weekly news podcast.

NOVA Entertainment Central Coast station STAR 104.5 is recruiting for a breakfast newsreader/journalist, based in Sydney or the Central Coast.
The newsreader will be assigned to write and edit news bulletins for STAR 104.5’s breakfast show, crafting them for the station’s adult contemporary format. They may also be tasked as presenter for other NOVA Entertainment brands as needed.
The ideal candidate must have worked at least two years’ in a commercial radio environment, including familiarity with audio engineer methods, and writing/editing radio copy. They should be capable of working with little or no supervision and are deeply interested in news and current affairs.
